Minu esimene Welsh Corgi Pembroke tuli minu ellu märts 2009. Kolmas, punane lühisaba, Ormai Ingelwin Berth on toodud Venemaalt, aastal 2019.
Kuulutuse leidsin tänu Küllile. Postituses oli kirjas, et kasvataja oli esimesena müüdud kutsika koju tagasi toonud. Sellele 2,5 kuusele corgititele heideti ette, et ta ei kuula sõna, ei täida käsku ja jookseb liiga palju.
Lugesin pisarsilmil seda kirjatükki ja vaatasin sellele imearmsale kutsikale otsa ning olingi müüdud.
Kodus võtsid Bruno ja Oliver 4. kuuse kutsika kenasti vastu ja mulle tundus, et kõik ongi korras. Paraku hakkasid mõne kuu pärast ilmnema tema lapsepõlves saadud traumade tagajärjed.
Kõik asjad, mis olid inimesel käes, olid tema jaoks hirmutavad- kohvitass, näitusel rosett, autovõtmed, isegi A4 paberilehte oskas karta. Tööd oli palju, et neist hirmudest lahti saada. Tänaseks on minu armsast Berthist kasvanud julge, tubli, õrnahingeline ja sõbralik corgi oma parimates aastates.
Kuna oleme jäänud kahekesi, siis oleme koos sõbrakesed ja naudime üksteise seltskonda.

My first Welsh Corgi Pembroke came into my life in March 2009. The third, red short-tailed Ormai Ingelwin Berth, was brought from Russia in 2019.
I found the announcement thanks to Külli. The post stated that the breeder brought back home the first puppy sold. This 2.5-month-old corgi was criticized for not listening to words, not following orders and running too much.
I read this piece of writing with tears in my eyes and looked at this adorable puppy picture and I was sold.
At home, Bruno and Oliver welcomed the 4-month-old puppy nicely and it seemed to me that everything was fine. Unfortunately, after a few months, the consequences of the traumas he suffered in childhood began to appear. Everything that a person held in his hand was scary for him - a coffee cup, a rosette at a show, car keys, even an A4 sheet of paper could be afraid. There was a lot of work to get rid of these fears. Today, my beloved Berth has grown into a brave, capable, gentle, and friendly corgi in his prime.
Since we are alone now, we are very close friends and enjoy each other's company.
